Job Description
- The Summit is a virtual early identification opportunity for students passionate about exploring a career in Tech.
- All students are welcome to apply.
- The Summit application process includes an interactive day of learning and the chance to interview for Summer 2027 internships.
- Attendees will connect with MongoDB employees, explore company culture, and Early Talent Programs.
Two distinct tracks offered:
Developer Track:
- For creators and problem-solvers passionate about hands-on software engineering.
- Focus on students studying Computer Science or related fields.
- Work includes shipping customer-facing products, optimizing systems, developing internal tools, or architecting data pipelines.
- Application process:
- Apply to the Summit
- Choose Developer Track
- Pass Recruiter Phone Screen interview
- Pass Karat Technical Video interview
- Attend virtual Summit on May 14th, 2026
- Complete final round interview in early Fall for Summer 2027 Software Engineering Internship (3 back-to-back video interviews with engineers)
- Requirements:
- In second year of Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (Graduating Fall 2027 to early Summer 2029)
- Knowledge of Java, Python, Go, C++, or comparable object-oriented language
- Authorized to work in US or Canada (company sponsorship may be available for some roles)
Technology+ Track:
- For technical visionaries applying skills in specialized domains outside software engineering.
- Roles include Product Management, Technical Writing, Security, Analytics, Operations.
- Application process:
- Apply to the Summit
- Choose Technology+ Track and specify up to 3 roles of interest
- Pass Recruiter Phone Screen interview
- Attend virtual Summit on May 14th, 2026
- Complete rest of interview process in early Fall to early Winter for Summer 2027 internship role
- Requirements:
- In second year of Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, Information Security, Information Systems or related fields (Graduating Fall 2027 to early Summer 2028)
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and interest in business-technology intersection
- Analytical skills in research, data analysis, reporting, storytelling
- Project/program/product management skills
- Authorized to work in US or Canada (company sponsorship may be available for some roles)
