About the role:
The Account Development Representative (ADR) role is an entry point for a career in Software as a Service sales. Responsibilities include lead searching, enterprise account mapping, and building demand for Samsara’s products. This role is ideal for those developing enterprise technology sales skills with potential promotion to closing roles. ADRs work closely with top-tier executives and learn how sales organizations succeed. This is a hybrid position based in our Phoenix, AZ office requiring 3 days per week onsite and 2 days working remotely.

In this role, you will:
- Learn about the sales funnel and observe the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closing.
- Manage inbound lead flow, qualify leads, and distribute them appropriately.
- Execute outbound campaigns to engage potential customers and generate leads.
- Identify organizational structures to find key decision-makers in prospective accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product-focused marketing campaigns supporting sales goals.

Minimum requirements for the role:
- Willingness to conduct 80+ cold calls daily.
- Willingness to travel to Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ city centers.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year Bachelor's degree program or within 1 year of graduation.

- Previous cold-calling experience.
- Motivation for goal-oriented quota-carrying roles.

Compensation
Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range: $73,440 USD
