As Account Director, you are comfortable and capable of running a strong portfolio of International clients with your inherent growth mentality. You are constantly on the lookout for the next creative opportunity to drive brand strength and in turn drive commercial success. Being fully responsible for upsell, customer relationship management, and acquisition within your select portfolio of accounts is something you have perfected over your past 8+ years of experience. You maintain and strengthen relationships, you translate customer needs into new projects in the field of music production, strategy, sonic branding, and music profiling. Main Job Duties
- Guide junior account support to deliver stellar brand management, up-to-date admin, and financial overview and drive financial transactions across dedicated accounts, while installing company values
- Oversee research, conception, and building presentations for existing and new clients
- Align on overarching strategic direction for brand development to responsible Account Director for alignment and oversee the delivery of all short/ long term tasks to drive agreed agenda
- Confidently lead all brand project planning including internal briefing, monitor progress, and deliver successfully on time and within budget, every time
- Proactively identify where opportunities lie for Massive to better serve the brand and ultimately increase turnover on an ongoing basis, and develop this further with Account, Strategy, and Creation teams
- Keep your finger on the pulse of relevant brand news and activity to feed into the broader team
- Stay up to date with best practices in the field of Sonic Branding, Branding, and Music Activations and share them with the DtB teams
- Set overarching financial goals, build a plan to achieve them, monitor ongoing success, and report on achievements both to the client and your (team) manager
Client-related responsibilities
You will work on projects flowing from a variety of clients.
- Oversee successful setup, daily management, completion (creative, qualitatively, within budget, and planning), and delivery of projects. Within which responsibility also falls for drafting briefings & controlling budgets
- Relentlessly own building the client relationship and constantly look for opportunities to nurture this growing yourself into a position of trusted expertise and guidance
- Proactively inspire the client with strategically informed opportunities and sell in the opportunity to make them a reality in the short term
- Grow the relationship with senior clients to ensure you’re the first port of call for strategic sparring and long-term brand-building plans of action
- Deliver impressive brand/ account growth on an ongoing basis and against stretch targets
- Oversee the build of periodic reports and end-of-year evaluations both internally and to the client
Overall turnover responsibility
Looking after 2-4 large-sized clients. Total cumulative annual turnover: 600k-1 million. This work is carried out by the Director of Client Services who is/are end-responsible for all the work that goes out.
