About the Role

  • Experienced and strategic full cycle Account Executive to drive sales efforts by prospecting, engaging with potential customers, and closing deals.
  • Work closely with CEO, Head of Demand Generation, and current Account Executive.

Role Overview

  • Work closely with executive team to shape sales strategy using expertise and innovation.
  • Create and refine sales processes from scratch.
  • Hunt and create lists of potential customers in vacation rental management, property management, hospitality industries.
  • Engage prospects by qualifying leads, uncovering needs, confirming budgets, identifying decision-makers.
  • Initially focus on lead generation, screening leads, introductory meetings; progress to managing entire sales process and closing deals independently.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams sharing field insights to influence product roadmap.
  • Maintain activity records; be metrics-driven; contribute to team success.
  • Provide mentorship to potential junior sales members; build culture of excellence.
  • Bring entrepreneurial mindset taking ownership of role and contributing to team success.

  • Team player valuing collaboration and communication.
  • Strong writing skills for clear communication building trust and winning business.
  • Experience owning pipeline, revenue or metric goals holding self accountable for results.
  • Ownership mentality thinking outside the box on product messaging and scaling learnings.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales or business development / AE role with minimum 3 years experience.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B SaaS or fintech sales preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year university required.
  • Must live in Austin or willing to relocate (remote considered for exceptional candidates).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in SaaS or fintech industries.
  • Experience in vacation rental, hotel or property management industry.
  • Startup environment experience preferred.
  • Former competitive athlete is a plus.
