Role Summary:
- Position: Account Executive (AE)
- Location: United States
- Department: Sales
- Responsible for driving growth and expansion within an established customer portfolio.
- Combines strategic account management with consultative enterprise selling.
- Partners with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
- Focus on Operations Cloud conversions and multi-product adoption.
- Opportunity to shape customer journey, close high-value deals, accelerate enterprise market growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a defined set of enterprise accounts via upsell, cross-sell, expansion.
- Build and maintain trusted executive relationships through regular engagement and consultative selling.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans identifying growth areas and competitive positioning.
- Drive adoption of PagerDuty’s Operations Cloud by articulating business value and ROI.
- Execute complex multi-product sales motions; partner with Solution Consultants for technical validation and proof-of-concept.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and disciplined pipeline in Salesforce using MEDDICC framework.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product Management, Renewals teams to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in enterprise B2B sales/account management/expansion roles within SaaS or cloud software.
- Proven success managing quota in complex long-cycle enterprise sales.
- Experience selling to/influencing C-level executives.
- Proficiency with Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in MEDDICC and Command of the Message (COM) methodologies.
- Experience managing high-value accounts.
- Track record of success with multi-product sales and solution-based selling models.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, Operations Cloud or DevOps environments.
- Strategic thinker with exceptional communication, negotiation, relationship-building skills.
Work Model & Location Restrictions:
- Hybrid work model with offices in Atlanta, Lisbon, London, San Francisco, Santiago, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto.
- Cannot employ candidates residing in certain states/territories in Australia, Canada, United States (specific locations listed).
