Position: Account Specialist, Affiliate Marketing Location: Singapore The Account Specialist position is a remote, work-from-home role, as are all positions at Acceleration Partners. Some travel may be required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events. This person must be located in Singapore and fluent in Japanese or Korean. The Role: As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of work experience. Affiliate marketing experience is not required. You will manage affiliate communications, reporting, and general account maintenance, including recruitment, newsletters, fraud checks, and data analysis. You’ll work closely with your manager and peers to maximize program effectiveness and create opportunities for growth. Top 5 Responsibilities:
- Account & Client Communication: Build and maintain client and affiliate communications including newsletters and updates about promotions, program developments, and general client information. Develop relationships with clients and partners to understand their goals and objectives.
- Reporting & Data Management: Utilize Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) to produce detailed reports, track performance, analyze data for insights and trends. Summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to optimize program performance.
- Strategy Execution & Task Ownership: Own and manage client tasks with minimal supervision ensuring deadlines are met accurately. Prioritize tasks effectively and keep the team informed of any delays. Use tools and client tracking platforms to support program goals.
- Program & Portfolio Management: Manage multiple affiliate campaigns maintaining balanced focus across each; identify process improvements; provide proactive support; manage risks; track fraud; ensure compliance with program terms.
- Team Collaboration & Growth: Collaborate with peers and management to contribute ideas for process improvements and training; serve as a resource for peers; help drive continuous improvement sharing best practices.
What Success Looks Like: By 6 Months: Proficient in day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs including reporting, recruitment, creative asset deployment; present new campaign ideas; perform fraud checks; develop strong relationships; execute tasks with minimal guidance. By 1 Year: Troubleshoot and resolve account issues independently; provide insights and recommendations; develop new ideas improving processes; take on new account responsibilities with manager support; serve as thought leader contributing to relationship-building. Qualifications & Skills:
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Japanese or Korean
- 1-2 years experience (online marketing/e-commerce/affiliate marketing beneficial)
- Familiarity with affiliate networks/SaaS platforms (e.g., ShareASale, Commission Junction, Impact) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of HTML is a plus
- Ability to travel when necessary
