Account Specialist, Influencer Marketing
Dallas, Texas; Tampa, Florida; Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Phoenix, Arizona Position: Account Specialist, Influencer Marketing The Account Specialist position is a remote, work-from-home role. Some travel may be required for client meetings, internal meetings, conferences, and other events.
The Role:
As an Account Specialist, you will provide white glove service to diverse brands investing in influencer marketing campaigns. This role focuses on campaign execution including influencer recruitment, managing influencer partnerships, owning campaign deliverables, tracking, and reporting. You will also drive strategy by analyzing campaign performance and implementing strategic measures to optimize programs towards goals. The successful candidate will have strong experience in developing and managing KPI-driven influencer marketing campaigns for consumer products and/or services companies. They will have knowledge of the partner marketing landscape including affiliate marketing and be able to develop strategy as well as execute. The role requires a self-starter who can manage competing priorities and operate successfully in an intrapreneurial environment. Strong relationship-building and leadership through influence are essential. You’ll work closely with your manager and peers to maximize program effectiveness and create growth opportunities.
Top 5 Responsibilities:
- INFLUENCER RECRUITMENT, NEGOTIATING & ONBOARDING
Source new partnership opportunities and create influencer casting lists. Vet opportunities for brand alignment before client approval. Conduct outreach to approved partners and negotiate participation. Support influencers through onboarding by providing resources.
- INFLUENCER PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT
Craft program-wide communications and creator resources. Guide influencers on content strategy and creation. Develop content timelines with influencers and ensure adherence. Collect content drafts and lead review process ensuring FTC compliance. Adjust content strategy as needed to optimize performance.
- AUDITING, REPORTING & ANALYSIS
Audit program content for FTC compliance and brand guidelines. Track content accurately and share insights with clients including placement insights, partner insights, and campaign progress towards KPIs. Analyze campaigns using social analytics and conversion metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Provide actionable recommendations backed by data. Support creation of strategy plans, performance summaries, and hindsight presentations.
- CLIENT SERVICE & COMMUNICATION
Provide superior client service consistently. Escalate issues or risks appropriately. Deliver client outputs with quality, accuracy, precision in the AP way. Develop strong relationships to promote high client satisfaction (average 8.5 rating) and retention.
- PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Manage client tasks independently ensuring deadlines are met accurately. Handle multiple campaigns with strong organization skills prioritizing tasks based on objectives while flagging delays proactively. Understand each client’s scope of work fully; deliver under terms while identifying new opportunities or misalignments to resolve issues collaboratively.
What Success Looks Like:
BY 3 MONTHS:
- Contributing across a portfolio of influencer programs aligned with campaign strategy.
- Working with key client contacts on brand alignment for recruitment/content.
- Familiar with AP tools/solutions; able to conduct casting, execute timelines, audit content, track performance.
By 6 MONTHS:
- Owning day-to-day operations of multiple influencer programs with little guidance.
- Managing challenging situations proactively with team support.
- Regularly analyzing data to optimize campaigns strategically.
- Handling client accounts effectively meeting KPIs with high satisfaction ratings.
- Presenting new campaign ideas demonstrating understanding of performance.
By 1 YEAR:
- Troubleshooting account/creator issues independently providing insights/recommendations.
- Developing new ideas/process improvements creating efficiencies.
- Taking on new account responsibilities; serving as thought leader contributing to team development.

Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years at an influencer marketing agency executing campaigns/managing relationships
- Solid understanding of omni-channel/digital marketing with successful influencer campaigns experience
- Excellent communication/presentation skills for client approvals on strategies
- Working knowledge of digital marketing attribution
- Understanding of influencer & affiliate marketing integration
- Experience with tools like CreatorIQ, Grin, Izea preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Affiliate Networks or SaaS platforms (Impact, ShareASale) preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Advanced Excel skills (formatting, formulas, reports)
