A Candidate's compensation package is finalized once the interview process is concluded and accounts for demonstrated experience, job knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity. We use a business impact approach to base pay, which means we set pay for all Zapiens based on their demonstrated impact on Zapier’s success. In alignment with that philosophy, the upper half of a pay range is typically reserved for individuals who have consistently demonstrated a high impact in their current role and level while at Zapier. We’re looking for an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for supporting procure-to-pay operations, managing vendor data and onboarding, maintaining accurate accounting records, and contributing to process improvements across the P2P function. In this role, you’ll support Renee Law, Accounting Manager in overseeing vendor lifecycle management, strengthening accounting processes and documentation, coordinating cross-functional communication, and ensuring timely, accurate completion of accounting related tasks. Things You’ll Do:

Oversee vendor master data records within procure-to-pay & ERP system (Zip)...
Perform OFAC & TIN matching processes
Review critical vendor fields for missing/incomplete/incorrect data
Manage vendor offboarding in procure-to-pay & ERP systems
Provide necessary reporting on vendors
Review & code invoices accurately & promptly
Assist purchase request reviews/follow-ups
Help create/maintain process documentation/internal accounting docs/Zapier-facing docs
Respond timely Slack messages regarding accounting questions
Manage virtual card transaction queue ensuring timely submission w/ documentation; file receipts securely
Manage/distribute incoming mail leveraging automated mail processes
Organize/assign tickets from accounting Zendesk instance properly
Provide assistance on various procure-to-pay projects as needed
Perform month-end reconciliation processes & automations
