About the role:
Seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant based in Mexico City to support the global Legal Operations team administratively across Mexico, US, Canada, Europe, and India. The role involves handling diverse administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily legal operations globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support administrative functions for Samsara Legal Operations team
- Manage legal team request intake queues ensuring prompt resolution
- Provide general administrative support including contract redlining, document management, coordination/preparation (filing, signing), correspondence
- Improve administrative workflows across legal team and cross-functionally
- Maintain and organize legal databases and systems
- Manage updates to contractual and policy templates and related workflows
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among global legal team
- Support special projects/initiatives as needed

Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of administrative/operations/legal support experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in Spanish and English
- Based in Mexico City; hybrid role with minimum 3 days/week onsite
- Ability to support US EST/PST business hours as needed
- Experience managing team inboxes/queues, coordinating tasks, meeting deadlines in dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills managing multiple tasks accurately
- Discretion handling confidential legal information
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Proficient with AI tooling including designing/improving AI-powered workflows
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in-house at technology company, law firm or notary public
- Experience with legal management/enterprise software (Zendesk, Ironclad, Slack, Google Drive, Adobe, Brightflag)
- Knowledge of legal terminology/practices/documentation
- Exceptional communication/interpersonal skills focused on team collaboration
- Adaptability and proactive mindset for fast-paced innovative environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
