Anthropic Fellows Program overview

The program fosters AI research and engineering talent by providing funding and mentorship regardless of previous experience. Fellows primarily use external infrastructure (e.g., open-source models, public APIs) to work on empirical projects aligned with research priorities with the goal of producing a public output (e.g., paper submission). Over 80% of fellows in earlier cohorts produced papers. Multiple cohorts run each year; this application is for cohorts starting July 2026 and beyond.
