Artist & Label Partnerships Manager - Mexico

Role Overview

• Join Spotify's Artist and Label Partnership team in Mexico.
• Ensure key artists, managers, and labels see Spotify as the #1 partner for artist development and monetization.
• Focus on all types of music; knowledge of socio-cultural contexts for different music genres is a plus.
• Work closely with local team and international counterparts on global campaigns.
• Bring diverse perspectives to positively impact the music industry.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster relationships with record labels and artist community.
• Support and educate on Spotify tools and resources to maximize business.
• Ensure priority releases are available on Spotify from day one.
• Facilitate artist-fan engagement on Spotify.
• Collaborate with editorial team to localize content strategies.
• Work cross-functionally to fulfill company strategic goals and projects.
• Advocate for Spotify’s interests within the creator community.
• Create presentations/documents communicating team/project performance and recommendations.
• Ensure best possible content offering in the territory to attract users.
• Develop methodologies to be best-in-class partner to artist and label communities.
• Attend events, conferences, shows as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years experience in label and artist relations at digital music service, record label, or media company.
• Strong understanding of various music genres/scenes, preferably local; built contacts with labels/artists.
• Strong music and technology background; proven record in music marketing and operations.
• Familiarity with latest digital marketing techniques.
• Excellent negotiating, presentation, people skills.
• Skilled in content management systems and supply chain processes.
• Analytical; able to use/interpret data for strategy setting and goal tracking.
• Well organized with attention to detail; able to plan/deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across areas.
• Strong knowledge of music industry and cultural trends in marketplace.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Location & Work Arrangement

• Based in Mexico City.
• Flexible work location with some in-person meetings (2–3 times per week).
