Job Description
Looking for a bookkeeper who has experience in working with an architecture or design firm to assist the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Assist the Director of Finance in the daily administration of business operations.
- Prepare reports as needed for various needs, including financial, administrative, and human resources.
- Accounts Receivable calls, emails and maintenance.
- Draft preparation of monthly invoices.
- Accounts Payable of Subcontractor and Vendor Invoices.
- Assist with clerical duties as needed such as Employee Handbook upkeep.
- Timesheet entries for off-site workers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of documented experience in bookkeeping.
- Proficient in architecture or engineering accounting software; knowledge of Ajera is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently and handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
