The Team:

Solutions Consulting team responsible for deep knowledge of Upstart’s products and economics.
Role involves explaining and educating lending partners.

Role Summary:

Drive adoption of lending partners to the Upstart platform.
Function as a solutions consultant translating ambiguous questions into structured analyses.
Communicate complex analyses clearly to external stakeholders.
Own deal-related analyses supporting new and existing lending partner (LP) partnerships across all products.
Analyze deal economics, performance tradeoffs, risk/return profiles, product configurations.
Translate findings into recommendations for deal structuring, pricing, strategic decisions.
Partner with Capital Markets, Sales, Product, and Finance teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years experience in solutions consulting, strategy, analytics or related role.
Proficiency in SQL/Python; comfortable working directly with data.
Ability to work with large datasets and perform rigorous quantitative analysis.
Experience partnering with centralized analytics or data science teams.
Experience building dashboards or recurring reporting (Looker, Tableau, Mode or similar).
Strong stakeholder management skills; comfortable in cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in fintech, capital markets, lending or financial products.
Experience with multiple lending products (Personal loans, Auto, Home lending).
Familiarity with deal economics, risk/return analysis or portfolio analytics.

Location:

Remote role available anywhere in the U.S.
Team operates on East/West coast time zones.

Travel Requirements:

Majority of work remote; encouraged to attend regular onsite collaboration sessions once or twice per quarter lasting 2–4 days.

Compensation:

Anticipated base salary range: $118000—$163300 USD (varies by geographic location).
Additional compensation includes target bonuses, equity compensation.
