Overview Of The Role
- Join a diverse, customer-focused team reporting to a Manager of Sales Development.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to fuel pipelines with promising leads.
- Engage in the sales cycle, exploring opportunities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Represent PagerDuty as the initial point of contact for target accounts.
- Use modern outbound prospecting to nurture and educate prospects on PagerDuty's value.
Key Responsibilities:
Value Selling:
- Communicate PagerDuty's business value proposition focusing on impact and solutions beyond features and price.
- Adapt quickly to Command of the Message (COM) selling model and solution selling/customer-centric sales methods.
Sales Effectiveness:
- Consistently achieve sales goals with a proven track record.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and time management skills.
Sales Execution:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness in work and information.
- Prepare carefully for meetings and presentations; follow up on agreements.
- Use best practices in account development targeting enterprise accounts via phone, email, video, social technologies.
- Engage in discovery conversations with practitioners and management levels.
- Proficiently use Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Demandbase.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple leads/opportunities.
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic sales environment.
- Passion for technology.
- 1-2 years experience in outbound prospecting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior sales development experience preferred.
- Experience using salesforce.com preferred.
- BA/BS Degree.
Location:
Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid work model with offices in 8 major cities. Candidates must reside in eligible locations (some US states excluded).
