💻 The Role

The Business Operations Manager / Senior Manager will:

Work directly with leadership to lead large initiatives and solve complex problems.
Help scale Whatnot globally by supporting markets in the UK, France, Germany, and Canada through product and engineering partnerships, research on product/pricing/incentives, and owning key market metrics.
Scale marketing efforts by applying business rigor to capital deployment and measurement.
Partner with Strategy & Finance (StratFin) and Data teams to build a healthy business by analyzing margin levers and growth investments.
Build tooling for tracking progress against goals to improve team efficiency.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve buyer/seller experience and resolve high-impact issues end-to-end.

👋 You (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related field.
5-6+ years experience in consulting, investment banking/private equity, or fast-growing startups.
Ability to work fast with little structure or guidance.
Curious about different business areas and growth levers.
Independent operator who can handle ambiguous projects deeply.
Proven cross-functional collaboration skills; proactive communicator who drives change in fluid environments.
Fluent in using AI tools for problem-solving and execution.

🙏 Nice to Have

Experience with marketplaces or two-sided platforms.
Passion or experience in online marketplace communities for buying/selling.
Proficiency with SQL & dashboards.

💰 Compensation (US-based applicants)

$185,000 - $215,000 per year + benefits + stock options
