Role Overview
Primary guide for clients throughout their journey with Bright!Tax. Main point of contact ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident during complex tax processes. Role involves creating clarity, building trust, coordinating with internal teams, and proactive client communication. Works closely with Tax Team, IRS Communications Team, and Client Success team to manage tax preparation process and deliverables. Ideal candidate is organized, thoughtful, calm under pressure, enjoys helping people, and delivers exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of clients.
- Build trust through timely, clear, thoughtful communication.
- Guide clients through tax preparation stages by explaining next steps and clarifying expectations.
- Ensure clients feel supported and informed.
Process Coordination
- Coordinate between clients and internal teams to ensure complete documentation and project progress.
- Monitor engagement progress using HubSpot and other workflow tools.
- Identify potential delays or issues proactively and escalate as needed.
Client Support & Problem Solving
- Respond to client questions via email and internal messaging platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues or route inquiries appropriately.
- Provide proactive guidance anticipating common questions.
Client Experience Advocacy
- Ensure professionalism, empathy, and clarity in all client interactions.
- Contribute to improving client workflows, communication practices, and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance client experience.
What You Bring
- 2+ years experience in client services, account management, customer success or similar roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills (clear, warm, professional).
- Strong organizational/time-management skills managing multiple clients/priorities.
- Comfortable working fully remote using digital collaboration tools.
- Proactive mindset with genuine desire to help others.
Nice to Have
- Experience in tax, accounting or financial services.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot.
- Experience supporting U.S. expatriate clients or working with globally distributed teams.
