About The Role

As a Compliance Engineer focused on APAC at ElevenLabs you will be responsible for ensuring our products meet regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions in Asia-Pacific. You will work closely with product teams to embed compliance controls into development processes.

Responsibilities

Monitor evolving regulatory landscape in APAC region relevant to AI technologies.
Develop compliance frameworks tailored for local markets.
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, engineering & product teams.
Conduct risk assessments & audits on product features impacting compliance.
Provide training & guidance on compliance best practices.
Manage certifications & documentation required by regulators.

Experience & Background

1. Experience & Background

Proven experience in compliance engineering or related field within tech industry.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws such as GDPR equivalent regulations in APAC countries.
Familiarity with AI ethics guidelines & standards.
Experience working with cross-functional teams globally.

2. Technical Skills

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) security compliance controls.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) integration for compliance checks.

3. Soft Skills & Attributes

Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
Proactive problem solver who can navigate ambiguity effectively.

4. Certifications (Preferred)

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
