Job Description: Content Designer Advisor

Overview

Join the IT Product Design group at Dell Technologies as a Content Designer Advisor in Bangalore. Advocate for users by identifying their goals and conducting research to create and iterate solutions addressing user pain points and needs.

What You’ll Achieve

Work on a multidisciplinary design team defining support experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams to develop accurate, relevant, and clear content that resonates with customers and aligns with business goals.
Create UI microcopy (field labels, tooltips, error messaging, helper text) enabling customers to find and use online support resources.
Work with UX researchers to understand user expectations, pain points, and preferences to design content improving customer experiences and engagement.
Maintain and update existing content ensuring consistency across support sites, relevance to customer needs, and alignment with strategic initiatives.

Essential Requirements

Must provide an Online Portfolio for reference.
5 to 8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or related roles.
Proven ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content for various audiences and formats.
Familiarity with content management systems for refining and iterating content for online publishing.
Confidence collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams to present rationale for content during review and feedback.

Desirable Requirements

Working knowledge of information architecture, content hierarchy, taxonomies, models, and metadata standards to deliver intuitive, accessible, user-friendly content experiences.
Experience analyzing page performance data to measure content effectiveness, identify issues, and recommend improvements shaping content strategy.
