Job Description for Credit Analyst at Sophos:

Location: India Department: Finance – Financial Control and Reporting Employment Type: Permanent, Remote Shift: UK Shift hours Role Summary:

• Responsible for global credit and collections, cash application, and other ad hoc tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect outstanding debt for global distributor accounts.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Posting incoming payments.
• Cash forecasting.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Monitor the Credit Control inbox daily.
• Create Partner & Distributor accounts in Salesforce and SAP.
• Send invoices/credit notes, monthly statements, and final payment demands.
• Develop relationships with partners and distributors to ensure timely invoice payments.
• Set up meetings with partners and distributors to resolve cash collection issues.
• Conduct regular credit analysis to assess customer creditworthiness.
• Handle partner and distributor queries.
• Liaise with Sales and Order Processing teams on queries, credit accounts, and order disputes.
• Assist the team in achieving DSO targets.

Recovery of Outstanding Debt:

• Chase outstanding debt via telephone & email.
• Oversee a large volume of debtors globally.
• Support credit control team to meet monthly collection & DSO targets.

Other Duties: Any other reasonably required duties from time to time. Required Skills and Experience:

• Credit control experience – business to business.
• Superb communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience with SAP and Salesforce.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent customer service skills (written and telephone).
• General administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, team player, fast learner, organized.
• Experience with Zuora and Cash Analytics is a plus.

Additional Information: Sophos operates a remote-first working model but requires legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction without employer sponsorship.
