Job Description

As a Customer Marketer for the Benelux, you own the strategy and execution for activating and engaging our existing customer base. Your primary mandate is to turn customer insights, campaigns, and programs into measurable commercial impact, initially focusing on generating a consistent flow of high-quality, sales-ready meetings for Sales and Account Management. You design and scale long-term customer marketing engines including advocacy, lifecycle engagement, and community initiatives that drive retention, expansion, and brand affinity. Operating at the intersection of marketing, sales, and customer success, you lead customer marketing initiatives end-to-end balancing short-term revenue impact with sustainable customer growth and lifetime value. Primary KPIs:

  • Meetings booked
  • Pipeline contribution
  • Closed won ARR

About the Team: You are part of the Benelux Marketing team working closely with:

  • Account Management & Sales – follow-up, use cases, pipeline
  • Customer Success – signals, timing, customer context
  • Product Marketing – value propositions, messaging, use cases
  • Performance Marketing – segmentation, dashboards, reporting

Reporting to the Head of Marketing; trusted sparring partner for revenue teams within Benelux. 12-Month Journey: During first 3 months:

  • Become proficient with platform and understand ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles), customer segments, product usage.
  • Work with customer data/dashboards to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Launch meeting-driven customer activations; support webinars; develop local messaging/content.
  • Focus on demonstrable ROI and booked conversations.

Within 6 months:

  • Independently run meeting/pipeline-driven campaigns.
  • Own activation of existing customers toward upsell/cross-sell conversations.
  • Optimize timing/messaging/channel selection.
  • Build structured initiatives such as targeted lifecycle programs and initial advocacy initiatives (use cases, quotes, webinars).

After 1 year:

  • Full ownership of customer-to-pipeline marketing in Benelux.
  • Manage against KPIs; optimize based on data.
  • Build/scale customer advocacy (case studies, stories), lifecycle engagement programs (retention/adoption/expansion), community/feedback initiatives (Customer Advisory Board or Voice of Customer).
  • Regional point of contact for customer growth; provide strategic input on marketing’s contribution to value creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop/execute commercially focused customer activation campaigns.
  • Build multichannel campaigns (email, in-app, webinars, events) with clear CTAs.
  • Collaborate with Account Management for upsell/cross-sell conversations.
  • Coordinate webinars/use-case sessions/events with conversion goals.
  • Set up/expand customer advocacy (case studies, quotes).
  • Design lifecycle programs to optimize onboarding/feature adoption.
  • Collaborate on community and Voice of Customer initiatives.
  • Continuously optimize based on funnel/conversion/pipeline data.

Requirements ("What You Bring"):

  • 5+ years experience in B2B SaaS customer/lifecycle/revenue marketing.
  • Proven experience generating meetings and pipeline via campaigns.
  • Strong commercial mindset + customer-centric thinking.
  • Excellent written/verbal content and communication skills.
  • Ability to create high-quality content across multiple formats.
  • Data-driven focus on conversion and impact.
  • Fluent Dutch (C1+) and English.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools.
  • Self-starter; accountable; comfortable owning results.
  • Nice to have: Intercom, Planhat, Mixpanel experience.
