This is a solo ownership role โ youโll be the dedicated person responsible for ensuring our existing customers are engaged, successful, expanding, and advocating for Time Doctor in the market. This isnโt a campaign execution role. Youโll be developing strategy and running programs that directly impact retention, expansion, and customer-led growth. Youโll work closely with Customer Success, Product, and the broader Marketing team to turn customer relationships into business outcomes. Who we are looking for We are NOT looking for

Job requirements
What you will own
Customer Lifecycle & Retention
- Own post-sale marketing programs that drive engagement, product adoption, and retention across the customer base
- Develop lifecycle campaigns tied to key customer milestones โ onboarding, feature adoption, renewal windows, and expansion triggers
- Use customer data and product usage signals to segment the base and deliver relevant, timely communications
- Partner with Customer Success to identify at-risk accounts and support proactive retention efforts through targeted campaigns
- Use product usage and engagement data to monitor customer health signals and trigger appropriate marketing responses in coordination with CS
Expansion & Upsell Marketing
- Build and execute campaigns that drive expansion revenue โ upsell, cross-sell, and seat growth within existing accounts
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure customers understand the value of new features and product updates
- Develop messaging that helps CS teams position upsell conversations more effectively
TD Academy
- Own and develop TD Academy, Time Doctor's customer education platform. Build course content, manage the learning roadmap in alignment with product releases, design lifecycle triggers tied to enrollment and completion, and measure Academy's influence on adoption, expansion, and retention outcomes.
Customer Advocacy & Social Proof
- Build and manage Time Doctorโs customer advocacy program โ identifying champions, nurturing relationships, activating them as references, reviewers, case study participants
- Own pipeline of customer stories/testimonials/case studies in partnership with Content & PMM
- Drive reviews on G2/Capterra/other platforms to strengthen market presence
Voice of Customer & Insights
- Design/run feedback programs (surveys/NPS/interviews) to surface insights informing marketing strategy/product priorities/messaging
- Synthesize feedback into actionable recommendations for Marketing/Product/CS leadership
- Maintain pulse on customer sentiment/trends before they become retention problems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Customer Success as primary marketing counterpart for post-sale programs
- Work with Product/Product Marketing on launches/feature updates in campaigns
- Collaborate with Demand Generation on expansion/win-back programs involving existing customers
- Support Partner Marketing on joint initiatives where relevant
Your Experience
- 3+ years experience in customer marketing/lifecycle marketing/customer-focused B2B SaaS marketing role
- Proven experience building/running customer advocacy/retention/expansion programs (not just contributing)
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping/lifecycle segmentation/post-sale marketing motions
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve content production/personalization/campaign efficiency (active use)
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation & CRM tools (HubSpot strongly preferred)
- Ability to analyze customer data/product usage signals for targeting/program design
- Excellent written communication skills (emails/case studies/campaign briefs)
- Experience working cross-functionally with Customer Success/Product/Marketing teams
- Experience working in remote/distributed team environment
Preferred
- Experience at B2B SaaS company with mid-market customers
- Background in workforce management/HR tech/productivity software
- Experience running NPS or CSAT programs translating results into marketing action
Success Metrics
- Improvement in retention rates/reduction in voluntary churn
- TD Academy enrollment/completion/influence on retention/expansion cohorts
- Expansion revenue influenced by programs
- Growth in active advocates/references/reviews
- Engagement rates across lifecycle campaigns (open rates/activation/adoption metrics)
- Quality/volume of stories/social proof assets produced
- NPS & CSAT trends over time
