- Review and verify engineering drawings, models, and documentation against company, industry, and regulatory standards
- Check drawings for compliance with ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME Y14 drafting standards
- Identify and document errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in design data
- Provide clear feedback and recommendations to design engineers for correction and improvement
- Validate the accuracy of CAD models and associated metadata before release
- Ensure drawings reflect design intent and support producibility and manufacturability
- Collaborate with multiple design engineering organizations supporting multiple commodity types while ensuring design standards and configuration management processes are met (e.g., Machine Parts, Composites, Wiring Harnesses, PCBAs)
- Support drawing release processes within PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
- Coordinate with Configuration Management team when drawing/model issues may impact change notices, effectivity, or configuration control
- Participate in tolerance stack-up and interface checks to ensure fit, form, and function integrity
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance drawing quality and release efficiency
