About the Role:

Fireflies.ai is looking for a Design Engineer who brings together strong design taste and solid frontend engineering skills. In this role, you won’t just design screens or wait for handoff. You’ll spot product experience gaps, design better solutions, and ship them directly to users. You’ll work closely with the Design team to improve the quality of Fireflies’ most important product surfaces, including the meeting notepad, transcript view, dashboard, and other high-impact workflows. We’re looking for someone who cares about craft, moves quickly, and knows how to turn good design into production-ready code.

What You’ll Do:

• Improve the UI/UX quality of Fireflies’ highest-traffic product surfaces.
• Design, build, and ship polished frontend improvements.
• Turn design system components and tokens into clean, accessible interfaces.
• Work with the Design team to raise the visual quality bar across the product.
• Use data, customer feedback, and product judgment to identify what needs improvement.
• Build reusable UI patterns that make the product more consistent.
• Make sure what ships feels thoughtful, polished, and true to the design intent.
