Hey! Shun here, I’m the CEO and co-founder of Anima. We’re building an active learning OS for all of healthcare and life sciences towards maximising human wellbeing globally. My entire life, I’ve been pulling on a thread that’s affected all of us in some way. Millions die every year because their medical problems aren’t treated quickly enough. Hundreds of millions suffer pain, worry and discomfort needlessly because of long waiting times. I trained as a doctor and quit out of frustration at seeing countless cases of people dying because they got misdiagnosed or didn’t get the right care plan. Familiar/hungry to learn Figma.

No strict experience level enforced but must demonstrate above via projects/assessment.

Our current stack & what to expect:

Tech agnostic; choose best tools collectively; Two fully functional web apps prod: clinical users & patients; Good functional/unit test coverage; Advanced CI/CD pipeline supporting golden screenshots & automated frontend tests; Primarily use Figma for mock-ups/wireframes.

Looking for talented product designers hungry & understanding urgency/importance.

First month examples:

Work w/ engineers/sales identifying/creating implementing delightful user flows for doctors/patients using Anima;
Design creative solutions improving clarity/comprehension apps & website;
Join customer calls understanding motivations/needs/pain points.

Next 6 months examples:

Lead design/implementation flagship features incl video consultation offering & NHS API integrations;
Collaborate w/ engineers applying cohort/A-B testing insights informing feature/design decisions;
Hire/scale team implementing processes maximizing productivity/user delight.

6+ months examples:

Potential transition managerial/executive role;
Define/formalise design standards; grow/scale design tools/processes shipping high retention features rapidly.
