Overview

• Role: Multidisciplinary Designer
• Location: Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite)
• Mission: Shape brand communications across digital campaigns, event experiences, motion graphics, and sales enablement.
• Focus: Translate breakthrough science into visual stories for providers, patients, and partners.
• Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

Creative Execution and Production

• Design and produce creative assets across digital and print: display ads, landing pages, email campaigns, brochures, event collateral, social media content.
• Work within existing brand systems; contribute ideas to evolve visual platform.
• Deliver polished production-ready files ensuring quality and consistency.
• Support photography direction, video editing, motion design for campaigns.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving

• Partner with marketing, sales, research, product teams to understand objectives.
• Participate in creative development and brainstorming sessions.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into accessible visual communications.
• Provide brand-aligned materials to cross-functional teams to drive engagement.

Brand Development and Systems Thinking

• Expand visual platform across marketing channels including direct marketing and events.
• Contribute to design systems and brand guidelines evolution.
• Ensure brand consistency while enabling creative expression within visual language.
• Build organized asset libraries; maintain design documentation.

Growth and Learning

• Develop skills in brand design, digital advertising, motion graphics, experiential design.
• Seek feedback and mentorship toward senior-level roles.
• Stay current with design trends/tools relevant to healthcare/science communication.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years professional design experience (in-house/agencies/freelance).
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field.
• Portfolio showing brand storytelling, strategic thinking across digital/print channels.
• Experience in healthcare/science/biotech/technology sectors preferred.
• Skilled in multiple formats: digital ads, print collateral, motion graphics, social media, video.
• Proficient with Figma; Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Experience with motion/video tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar).
• Understanding of design systems/component libraries/scalable brand guidelines.
• Familiarity with digital marketing best practices/platform requirements (social/display/email).

Compensation

Total compensation package: $126161/year Base pay range: $84480 - $105601/year Includes base pay + equity options + corporate bonus + industry-leading benefits.
