Role Overview

The Designer Advocate at Figma Weave will be a Workflow Builder who helps creative teams design and scale their own systems. This role operates at the intersection of art and technology, demonstrating how AI and human creativity can flow together inside Figma Weave. It involves teaching, building, inspiring, and helping professionals turn their creative process into powerful, repeatable workflows. The Designer Advocate will also support sales and marketing by adding design credibility and product knowledge in messaging and conversations with users and new teams adopting Figma Weave. This is a full-time role based in the New York Hub.

What you'll do at Figma Weave:

Enable Figma Weave users at scale by producing standard methodology guides, creating resources, and hosting live streams to help users understand the tool and encourage sharing of experiences.
Sales enablement: Join sales demos for key high-value accounts to explain the product, share methodologies, and answer detailed questions.
Motivate and empower the community by maintaining relationships with users and finding collaboration opportunities.
Events: Speak regularly at meetups and conferences; support community advocates managing events worldwide.
Advocate for users with the product team by monitoring community sentiment on product releases and themes; share organized product feedback with PM & Design; act as trusted advisor for launches to prepare for community reaction.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Experience building AI-driven creative workflows or generative pipelines.
Familiarity with node-based or procedural tools (e.g., ComfyUI, Houdini, TouchDesigner, Runway).
Ability to translate creative processes into repeatable systems or workflows others can adopt.
Experience teaching, documenting, or sharing workflows with creative or technical audiences through events or live demos (travel up to 25%).
Deep expertise in a creative domain such as motion, VFX, post-production, design systems, or creative automation.

Additional Information

Figma values growth and encourages applicants even if their experience does not perfectly align with all points. The role offers an annual base salary range of $153,000 - $317,000 USD for New York or San Francisco hub offices.
