What You’ll Do (First 6 Months):
- Publish content regularly (blog posts, tutorials on Dev.to/Medium, YouTube videos, social media).
- Participate in public Redis forums and discussions.
- Present at key events and conferences.
What You’ll Do (First 12 Months):
- Develop deep understanding of product usage by community.
- Advocate for best developer experience internally.
- Develop specialization in Redis client libraries, frameworks, AI use cases.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least three years software development experience focusing on application development, databases, distributed systems or similar technologies.
- Strong programming skills; solid understanding of relational databases; familiarity with NoSQL databases space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience engaging with developer communities via public speaking, writing or online forums.
What Will Give You an Edge (not required):
- Existing YouTube channel with technical content demonstrating content creation and tech evangelism skills; good social media following from past engagements.
- Knowledge of vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), applied AI engineering; familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex frameworks.
- Experience working in cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premise environments.
