Director of AI Product & Solutions

Location: Remote — US, Canada, and the EU (Open to applicants located in the US, Canada and the EU) Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. We are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR. As the Director of AI Product & Solutions at Fueled, you will be a pivotal, hybrid leader responsible for architecting, building, launching, and driving the commercial success of our new market-facing AI services and product framework. You will focus on designing and delivering commercially viable, client-facing AI service offerings that are positioned for revenue growth and long-term market relevance. Working closely with managing partners, engineering, sales, and marketing, you will rapidly define and implement our AI service offering, win customers, and inform our strategy through hands-on delivery and direct market feedback. Through Discovery, Implementation, and Stakeholder feedback, you will create a healthy, breathing life cycle that refines our AI services and informs our AI product strategy. What you will do:

Bootstrap, Architect, and Code Solutions: You will act as a hands-on technical builder,... especially in early stages. You will actively write code,... personally build initial POCs,... ensure delivery of scalable AI frameworks before scaling team.
Drive product strategy... Own product vision,... achieve early commercial wins,... set KPIs,... report metrics to leadership.
Build/Mentor Multidisciplinary Team: Assemble/lead cross-functional strike team spanning engineering/product/GTM/solution delivery,... culture of rapid execution/commercial focus.
Enable sales/craft compelling assets: Partner with sales/marketing to craft demos,... ROI documentation,... technical case studies.
Champion/evangelize AI innovation: Evangelize product at industry events/keynotes/conferences/customer briefings,... stay current with AI/ML/LLM advancements,... evaluate integration or partnership opportunities.

What you will achieve:

Week 1: Integrate with managing partners/engineering/sales teams,... begin hands-on technical exploration new AI product framework.
First Month: Define initial service offerings/product roadmap,... write foundational code/architecture for first AI offerings,... develop early POCs/pitch assets.
Month 6: Successfully coded/launched externally-facing AI service offering to solve client needs,... drive commercial growth,... hire/build team around success.
Team Impact: Laid technical groundwork from scratch,... assembled high-performing cross-functional team fostering culture of excellence/delivery.

About you:

Engineer at core/technical expert: Hands-on software engineering/data/system design skills; deep expertise coding AI/ML/data products/technical solution architecture; comfortable IDE & boardroom presentation.
Technical Product Leader: 5+ years product/engineering leadership SaaS/AI/platform environments; track record bootstrapping tech vision into revenue-generating reality.
Commercial driver: Track record converting tech vision into client-facing revenue-generating products; motivated by commercial upside/success beyond base compensation.
Entrepreneurial mindset: "player/coach" attitude; relentless focus on team/org success.
Exceptional communicator & evangelist: Strong external presence at conferences/keynotes/client briefings; experience authoring sales collateral/product documentation/training.
