Job Posting: European Marketing Lead
Location: London, UK (Hybrid) Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 + 25% bonus + equity
About the Role
Join Muzz, a fast-growing Muslim dating app aiming to become the first billion-dollar Muslim app. The role focuses on leading growth efforts across Europe (UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey) with a strong digital growth and brand marketing focus.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement marketing strategy for the region/countries to drive brand awareness, sign-ups, and retention.
- Identify opportunities and challenges in markets.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs for local teams.
- Foster creative innovation.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of 10 marketing professionals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Enhance team projects with strategic input.
- Collaborate closely with local teams to maximize impact.
Brand Building and Campaign Execution
- Oversee planning, execution, and measurement of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and real channels.
- Develop compelling brand messaging tailored to each market.
- Work with performance marketing to optimize budget for ROI and KPIs.
- Enhance brand awareness through consistent messaging and storytelling specific to each country.
- Use data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
- Track key metrics including spend, CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), retention, and user quality.
- Report marketing performance to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in startup or fast-paced consumer business (preferably tech), ideally across multiple European markets.
- Hands-on performance marketing experience executing UA (User Acquisition) campaigns on major ad platforms.
- Proven expertise in Go-To-Market (GTM) planning and execution.
- Deep understanding of cultural nuances, consumer behavior, media landscapes in Europe.
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-border marketing teams.
- Exceptional data skills for evaluating and optimizing marketing activities.
- Success in both online and offline brand building.
- Strong understanding of Muslim culture in the region through lived experience or professional exposure.
- Fluency in English and French; bonus if fluent in French, German, Dutch, Turkish or Darija.
- Excellent project management and communication skills; ability to work across multiple time zones.
