Forward Deployed Product Manager (FDPM)

Overview:
- Customer-obsessed AI product manager focused on customer success.
- Spend ~80% time embedded with client accounts (via Zoom or on-site), driving product strategy and execution.
- Spend ~20% time on internal product initiatives.
Customer Journey Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers from startups to large enterprises to identify use cases and convert interest into long-term usage.
- Define and propose tailored solutions and proof-of-concepts using Agents (Codex, Claude Code).
- Lead onboarding and implementation efforts including workflows, latency benchmarks, API integration, infrastructure alignment.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor shaping customers' AI strategy using OneSchema infrastructure.
OneSchema Product Roadmap Responsibilities:
- Translate customer insights into structured product definitions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align customer needs with technical roadmap.
- Drive execution of product development ensuring successful customer delivery.
- Oversee OneSchema roadmap reflecting customer needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong technical background (CS/EECE or production-level development experience) or technical product management experience.
- Intimate familiarity with LLMs, fine-tuning, model inference, agents.
- 2 - 5+ years experience in products for software engineers.
- Strong customer interaction skills and deep customer success focus.
- Ability to communicate highly technical concepts including latest AI developments to diverse audiences.
- Outcome-driven mindset beyond technical milestones.
- Ability to navigate complex customer/technical scenarios with creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior technical product management roles with high degree of customer interaction.
- Interest in generative AI or developer tools.
- Early startup or founding experience.
- Prior technical leadership / technical PM experience.
