Job Description

Founding Developer Advocate

Cloud waste is a real, frustrating, and solvable problem. Our founders have spent over a decade in cloud infrastructure and FinOps — long enough to know that the reactive approach isn't working. Our talented team is shifting that: giving engineers the information they need to make smart decisions before they deploy, not after. We work with high trust, low bureaucracy, strong opinions loosely held, an appreciation for metrics, and a bias for shipping things that actually move the needle for our users.

Values:

  • Customer, not customer: We see ourselves and the customer as one. We build relationships and community with users and customers.
  • Open is our core: Transparency builds confidence. Encourage sharing both good and bad. The best decisions are made when everyone has access to all data.
  • Let's JEDI (Just Effing Do It): Own it and move fast. A good plan fiercely executed now is better than a perfect plan later. We ask for help and unblock each other.

You'll thrive here if:

  • You are a builder
  • You'd rather define the answer than wait for one
  • You want to see the direct impact of your work
  • You want a seat at the table early

This probably isn't for you if:

  • You need clearly scoped roles
  • You prefer established playbooks
  • You want a big brand name
  • You want a large team around you

Benefits:

  • Fully remote: We hire the best people where they are; no office to return to.
  • Meetings: Meet up twice a year in locations like Berlin, Barcelona, & San Diego for work and fun.
  • Compensation: Aim to pay above average (target 75th percentile), varies by location and role.
  • Equity: Employee-friendly equity terms including a 10-year exercise window.
  • Time off: At least 31 days paid leave per year including national holidays.
  • Health, dental, vision: 100% premiums covered in US, Canada, Germany.
  • 401k / pension matching: Contributions in US, UK, Germany, Canada.
  • Parental leave: 12 weeks paid for new parents.
