Job Description

Fitmate Coach is on a mission to make weight loss support truly work for people by providing 1:1 motivational coaching. Their approach blends human coaches with AI, enabling personalized, high-frequency support. As a Founding Engineer, you will own the product engineering stack, from backend infrastructure to mobile UX. You'll work directly with the Founder and play a central role in scaling their human-in-the-loop AI service, shaping how they build, ship, and scale tech that directly improves people’s health. Responsibilities include leading the implementation of new features across web and mobile, integrating with LLMs and AI tools to enhance coach productivity, and designing scalable backend systems to support 24/7 coaching.
