• Position: Front-end Developer
• Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (fully on-site)
• Client portfolio: WordPress-driven clients including B2B SaaS, publishers, healthcare, booking platforms, non-profits
• Company background: Long-term retainers for SME and mid-market businesses; strong background in scaling enterprise-grade WordPress applications; strategic partnerships with HubSpot, Semrush, etc.
• Technology focus: WordPress and custom solutions, big data pipelines within Google and Amazon ecosystems, MCP integrations, agentic microtools, n8n workflows

Role Requirements

• Fluency in HTML/CSS in the context of WordPress development
• Drive to expand into full-stack role (building WordPress themes and templates)
• Principles for prototyping and UX modeling
• Involvement in software development life cycle segments like deployments, provisioning, caching, stability

Key Responsibilities

• Build new WordPress themes or page templates (landing pages)
• Develop new Gutenberg components (moderate React usage)
• Fix broken components on client websites
• Craft new components and sections based on designs
• Improve look and feel of existing components; design help available but good aesthetics sense valued
• Refactor old codebase
• Work on dashboards for internal tools and third-party libraries
• Style integrations of forms, popups, other components

Daily Activities and Traits

• Write clean and reusable code with thoughtful class naming
• Follow defined workflow procedures
• Integrate within existing template structures (themes/landing pages)
• Refactor sites for better reusability; clean Sass; migrate Tailwind templates; incorporate mixins for maintainability
• Optimize website speed on front-end
• Ensure flawless work before QA submission
• Continuously learn new technologies and skills
• Apply best SEO practices and good UX practices
• Provide feedback to developers regarding front-end code refactoring

Skills and Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)

• Understanding of HTML5 semantics with practical application experience
• Ability to write clean HTML with logical class names focusing on reusability and scalability
• Experience with popular CSS naming conventions and understanding their purpose
• Mastery of CSS properties and their interactions (no frequent googling expected)
• SCSS usage including variables, mixins, nesting, extending, file inclusion
• Working knowledge of Git: frequent commits, branching, PRs, merges, conflict resolution
• Familiarity with WordPress template foundations (front-end crafting of templates/landing pages)
• Strong communication skills: task understanding, commenting patches, proactive questioning via Asana and Slack
• Working-level JavaScript skills including jQuery for legacy builds and basic React for Gutenberg blocks; focus on basic interactivity like class switching or plugin usage
