About the role

Job Summary: The Full-Stack Developer will work closely with the leadership team, product team, and other developers to design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end coding and services that meet business and user requirements. The incumbent will also be responsible to ensure code quality and optimize performance of borong’s platform and application. Key Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end coding and services.
• Liaise with the leadership team and head of development to define and prioritize borong’s product features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to design functionality and develop robust and quality code in alignment to the business and user requirements.
• Keep abreast with latest methodologies, applications, and technologies to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness for both front-end and back-end services.
• Understand and align coding to security and data standards to ensure code quality and integrity is well-maintained.
• Review, monitor, and test code, front-end and back-end services on borong’s platform and applications to optimise performance.
• Coach and guide junior developers to ensure the quality and performance of front-end and back-end coding and services.

Position Specifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in PHP (Laravel), MYSQL, Bootstrap and NuxtJs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of system performance tracking and analytics
• Understands OOP and MVC
• Have experience with Git
• Familiar with Linux and CLI
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum approach
