Role Summary
The Global Procurement Sr. Manager for Travel, Meetings & Events will report to the Global Procurement Director. The position will have key responsibility for all aspects of sourcing for these categories. This includes ownership of all negotiations related to airlines, hotels, meeting facilities, corporate credit cards, travel agencies, and booking tools. This role partners with respective key stakeholders across the company to identify and prioritize needs; understands the market to determine appropriate sources of supply; benchmarks/baselines the current state; develops sourcing strategy for these categories. Responsibilities include managing and leading periodic supplier business reviews (EBs, QBRs), leading competitive processes (RFx, Auctions), supplier selection, commercial negotiations, deal finalization; partnering with internal Shared Service organizations (Legal, Risk, Privacy, Insurance, Finance, Accounts Payable) for onboarding and contracting. The role also partners closely with Executive Assistants across the company to prioritize needs and establish discounts with properties and airlines fitting travel needs. Manages Travel Policies and guidelines for all Sophos users including setting guidelines, reporting on compliance and identifying opportunity areas for savings. The candidate must have excellent teamwork skills and partnering ability with multiple departments/stakeholders; able to present and communicate effectively (oral/written) with all levels of management.
