THE ROLE

Head of Supply Chain, Planning, Inventory & Returns (UK/EU Based)

We’re looking for a Head of Supply Chain, Planning & Returns to lead Quince’s end-to-end supply chain operations across UK & Europe while contributing globally. Build regional distribution centers (DCs), manage inventory planning across markets & optimize returns journey. Success means creating agile scalable supply chain supporting DTC operations & global growth advancing Quince’s mission through operational excellence & innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead setup & ongoing operations of UK/EU distribution centers (DCs) & warehousing solutions.
Define & execute regional supply chain strategies aligning with global goals & local regulations.
Partner cross-functionally with global teams aligning forecasts promotions fulfillment planning.
Develop planning models minimizing stockouts reducing excess inventory improving cash flow.
Oversee purchasing replenishment cycles inbound logistics from global manufacturing partners.
Build/manage mid-to-last-mile logistics across UK/Europe leveraging in-house/3PL providers.
Implement customer-centric returns/reverse logistics process efficient cost-effective brand-aligned.
Track/analyze returns trends informing product sizing packaging decisions.
Foster/maintain strong relationships with manufacturing partners Asia EU key regions.
Support supplier onboarding compliance performance management ensuring operational excellence.
Negotiate favorable commercial terms balancing cost efficiency ethical standards service levels.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Logistics Operations Management or related field.
12+ years experience in supply chain leadership managing end-to-end global operations.
Strong experience with global supplier management UK/EU operational exposure.
Proven track record establishing/scaling distribution centers warehouses optimizing eCommerce fulfillment multiple markets.
Expertise demand planning inventory optimization supply chain cost modeling.
Hands-on experience with 3PL management carrier negotiations reverse logistics.
Proficiency ERP WMS supply chain planning tools (e.g., Anaplan NetSuite).

Preferred:

Advanced degree (MBA MSc Supply Chain Analytics) or professional certifications (CIPS APICS Six Sigma).
Established network deep knowledge European supply chain landscape regulatory logistics nuances EU markets.
Experience applying AI large language models LLMs supply chain forecasting automation decision-making.
Exposure digital supply chain transformation initiatives leveraging advanced analytics intelligent automation.
Track record success fast-scaling high-growth environments ideally DTC omnichannel commerce.

All posted ranges reflective base salary vary depending experience level location. Bonus equity may also provided eligible roles. Pay Range: £140000 - £234000 GBP WHY QUINCE?
