HR Generalist

Bangalore Full-Time Job Description Role: HR Generalist Experience: 4 6 Years Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore Job Summary We are looking for a HR Generalist to own and manage core HR functions across Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Operations, Compliance, and Employee Experience. This role is critical in ensuring strong operational execution, policy adherence, and scalable people processes in a fast-growing startup environment. Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring for assigned functions and regions, including workforce planning, stakeholder coordination, offer management, and hiring metrics.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle 6onboarding, confirmations, role changes, and exits 6ensuring accuracy, consistency, and process adherence.
• Own end-to-end payroll processing, accuracy, statutory compliance, audits, and coordination with finance and vendors.
• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks in line with labor laws and business needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, grievances, disciplinary actions, and sensitive people issues.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, rewards & recognition programs, and internal HR communications.
• Maintain HR dashboards and reports covering hiring, attrition, payroll, and engagement, providing insights to HR leadership.
• Identify operational gaps and lead HR process improvements to enable scale, efficiency, and strong employee experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBA / Master9s in Human Resources or related field.
• 4 6 years of HR Generalist experience in a startup or high-growth organization.
• Strong hands-on ownership across Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Operations, and Compliance.
• Solid understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
• Experience with HRMS and payroll tools (Keka or similar preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High ownership mindset with attention to detail and confidentiality.
