About the role

We’re hiring a smart generalist to become an expert on our product and lead customer implementations. You’ll guide customers through their Agave journey. This is a unique opportunity to learn a complex B2B product, build long-term relationships with customers, drive sales growth, work closely with engineers, and join a fast-growing team going from $Xm to $XXm in revenue. You will report directly to our co-founder/CPO.

We’ve built something people actually need in a market most of Silicon Valley ignores—which is exactly why we’re winning. The only thing slowing us down is hiring. Our team is small scrappy high-caliber looking for next wave of builders who will help take Agave from breakout startup to category-defining company.

Why are we hiring this role?

Growing 10% month-over-month closing onboarding 5-8 new customers per week can’t manage pace going forward with current headcount.
Expand capacity run more sales demos onboard more customers shorter period enable sign more customers faster release constraint hitting aggressive growth goals this year.
Wear many hats besides leading customer implementations including:
Solutions Engineer: understand customer needs configure tool integrate seamlessly with systems of record (e.g., ERP). Get scrappy creative technical troubleshoot quirks.
Customer Success: build deep relationships manage renewal cycles expansions support escalations ensure happiness.
Product Manager: work 1:1 observe feedback synthesize prioritize improvements speed ease implementations.
Sales Engineer: technical expert early sales lead demos guide prospective customers pain points solution.

Responsibilities

Customer Discovery: lead technical demos guide prospects answer questions position product context systems.
Customer Onboarding: own end-to-end onboarding lead customers sales handoff full implementation primary contact accountability configure product train create docs build relationships identify churn upsell.
Project Management: manage multiple implementations create share plans timelines milestones troubleshoot escalate risks share feedback align external partners.
Process Improvement: build tooling templates automation scale onboarding understand process gaps create standardized scalable process create education materials reduce manual effort build features define improve tracking KPIs.

What we look for

Must have:
1+ year customer-facing experience
SaaS startup or top consulting firm/elite company experience interested early-stage startup
Aptitude/skill in structured troubleshooting systems thinking context-specific communication
Nice to have:
Hands-on b2b SaaS software implementation demoing familiarity construction industry accounting concepts API SQL Postman or similar tools
No need:
Experience construction or B2B SaaS/dev tools companies
