Junior Product Data Analyst

Location: Aldgate, London, Hybrid (3 Days in office) Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + equity Employment type: Full-time

Muzz is the world’s biggest dating and marriage app for Muslims. We need a smart and ambitious data analyst with real entrepreneurial flair to join our Data team to understand our members and all the metrics that matter. Love numbers and love being commercial? This is the role for you.

Requirements and skills needed

1+ years of experience in a data, product or similar analyst role
Strong SQL skills, with an interest in writing efficient, maintainable queries
Experience with a BI tool (e.g. Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent communication skills and presenting to non-technical audiences
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
A curious, proactive mindset and comfort working with ambiguity

Day to day

Join a dynamic data team whose goal is to grow the company and optimise products as we expand into new markets around the world
Understand user behaviour on the app to generate actionable insights for product and marketing
Analyse funnels and conversion across key user journeys, identifying drop-off points and opportunities to improve experience
Own reporting – set up and maintain dashboards in Data Studio to assess KPIs whilst enabling self-service
Work with product managers to define KPIs and metrics, compare performance across markets
Own event tracking in Mixpanel; collaborate with mobile and backend engineers to define tracking requirements ensuring key user actions are captured accurately
Provide analytical support across all areas of product development lifecycle including opportunity assessment, product strategy, feature analysis, experimentation, and A/B test design/analysis
Provide continuous training of business users to maximize use of Data Studio

Nice to have

Experience with BigQuery
Experience with Mixpanel or similar product analytics tools
Experience in designing and conducting A/B experiments
