Job Description:
DataRobot delivers AI that maximizes impact and minimizes business risk. The platform integrates into core business processes enabling teams to develop, deliver, and govern AI at scale. The role is part of the Professional Services team, helping position, sell, and support the DataRobot platform in the public sector. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise for installation, configuration, upgrading, and integration of DataRobot into customer environments. Requires broad skills in systems architecture, ETL flow design, security engineering, cloud computing, Kubernetes orchestration. Experience with deploying and maintaining platforms in unclassified and classified environments; navigating federal security and compliance requirements; responding to Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs). Communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences; provide consultative assistance on architecture and implementation with federal IT teams. Serve as liaison between Product, Engineering, and Federal business; apply expertise in Federal infosec requirements, Risk Management Framework (RMF), FedRAMP, and Agency authorization processes. Must be U.S. Citizen with active US DoW Secret security clearance.

- Lead the professional services effort to plan and execute successful installations, upgrades, and security accreditation in DataRobot’s Federal customer base, including managing CVE remediation and timely patch response within classified and sensitive environments.

- Provide consultative assistance on architecture and implementation.
- Deploy and operate DataRobot solutions within FedRAMP Authorized, IL5, and IL6 classified environments, ensuring compliance with applicable security controls, continuous monitoring requirements, and CVE response SLAs.
- Support pre-sales activities including architectural overviews, security review, and scoping of professional services activities.
- Stay current on technologies for systems architecture as well as AI/ML infrastructure including LLMs/MLOps.
- Collaborate broadly inside/outside company.
- May support/train technical members of partner organizations on platform architecture/admin/maintenance.

Is this You?
- 7+ years Federal engineering experience with 3+ years supporting IL5/IL6+ environments.
- Proven track record managing full ATO lifecycle including RMF processes & Continuous Monitoring for FedRAMP/Agency authorizations.
- Deep production expertise with Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/OpenShift), especially in air-gapped or disconnected environments (CKA/CKAD preferred).
- Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform/OpenTofu), configuration management (Ansible/Puppet).
- Mastery of Linux hardening & SecOps focusing on STIG/CIS hardening patch management CVE triage in secure enclaves.
- Operational system administration experience including integrations monitoring capacity planning.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines on Kubernetes using GitLab Helm Flux or Argo.
- Understanding of AI/ML infrastructure requirements including GPU scheduling/model serving/data egress in federal context.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills translating technical risks to technical/executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- Active Secret clearance required TS/SCI highly preferred.
- Willingness to be onsite at DC area client facilities up to 50% during peak phases approx 20% regional travel.
