Lead JavaScript Engineer

As a Lead JavaScript Engineer at Fueled, you will be an integral part in crafting complex web applications used by millions daily. The role involves pushing the boundaries of WordPress for over 12 years and building state-of-the-art web experiences alongside a top-tier team. You will work on unique builds and ongoing support engagements to enhance your technical leadership skills.

What you will do:

• Lead, architect, and build React projects in both client and server-side environments.
• Estimate JavaScript work and modularize goals into clearly defined, executable tasks.
• Coach and mentor fellow engineers to boost the team’s capabilities.
• Connect engineering deliverables to client business objectives.
• Craft apps and tools that reach millions of online visitors daily.

About you:

• Passion for building scalable web-based JavaScript applications with ES6+, React, and Node.
• Well-versed in React architectural concepts including state/data management, JSX, componentized systems, and JavaScript tooling.
• Knowledgeable of PHP in WordPress as a platform including custom post types, taxonomies, beyond typical blog use cases.
• Have a code portfolio with real-world samples; GitHub links preferred (no live coding or whiteboard testing required).
• Prefer fully remote work and effectively engage in distributed teams from any location.
