About the Role (Operations Associate):

• Plays a significant role in building, scaling, and growing the Brokerage Operations function.
• Responsible for pre and post trade processing for all security products traded by Atomic partner clients.
• Expertise in self-clearing and securities lending activities is strongly preferred.
• Acts as a key liaison between Operations, Engineering, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Compliance.
• Identifies inefficiencies in existing processes and helps map out enhancements for future business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre and post trade processing for all security products traded by Atomic partner clients.
• Oversee self-clearing and securities lending activities.
• Establish positions into Atomic’s internal system and custodians.
• Respond to partner inquiries and remediate trade exceptions.
• Support testing and provide subject matter expertise for new business initiatives and regulatory changes related to trade processing.
• Provide strong customer service to internal business units and support partners across the organization.
• Gain strong understanding of Atomic’s APIs, databases, trade processing flows as an RIA and broker dealer.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of client/internal needs to ensure operational soundness of changes or new initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and help plan enhancements to support future business growth.

Qualifications Sought:

• Industry expertise with broker dealers, Brokerage Operations, Trade Support.
• Experience with broker dealer build-outs including trade flows, self clearing, securities lending.
• Ability to work independently in high volume, high pressure, ambiguous environments.
• Proficient with data analysis and understanding complex workflows.
• Skilled at triaging/resolving onboarding, trading, clearing issues.
• Expertise in monitoring/resolving onboarding/trade processing exceptions.
• Experienced in onboarding/validating new accounts.
• Series 24 License required.
• Strong skills in Excel, SQL; ideally Jira experience as well.
• Systems experience with OMS (Order Management System).
• Front-end trading system experience
