Partner Development Manager

We're looking for a Partner Development Manager to join our EMEA team and lead our new, strategic partnership with SAP. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional with a builder's mentality to shape and grow a critical alliance from the ground up. You will be instrumental in defining our joint go-to-market strategy, driving co-sell opportunities, and enabling our field teams to succeed. This role requires a blend of business acumen, experience, technical understanding, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
What you will do:
- Strategy & GTM: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan for the SAP partnership across EMEA. Identify key target industries, use cases, and joint solutions.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with key stakeholders at SAP, including sales leadership, product teams, and alliance counterparts. Proactively build trust-based relationships across both internal, SAP stakeholders and mutual SI & ISV Partners.
- Pipeline Generation: Drive joint pipeline and revenue growth through co-selling, co-marketing initiatives, and strategic account mapping. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the partnership.
- Field Enablement: Act as the primary liaison between our sales teams and SAP's field organisation. Equip our sales reps with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to effectively sell with SAP.
- Work with regional Snowflake and SAP marketing teams to execute compelling marketing programs that highlight the value of Snowflake and Snowflake + SAP joint solutions
- Program Management: Lead the day-to-day operational cadence of the partnership, including regular business reviews, QBRs, and internal reporting.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the partnership at industry events, conferences, and internal meetings.
- Work closely with Global Snowflake colleagues along with teams from the Americas and APJ who are aligned with the SAP partnership to achieve annual sales targets
Who you are:
- A seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in alliance management, partner development, or business development, with a strong focus on enterprise software. Prior background in software and SaaS
- Ideally based out of Walldorf, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
- You have proven, recent experience working directly with SAP in an alliance or partnership capacity. You understand SAP’s ecosystem, organisational structure, and go-to-market motions. 3+ years of experience working SAP as a partner
- You possess a builder's mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and eager to create something new. You are a self-starter who can operate independently and drive results.
- You have a deep understanding of data platforms cloud technology analytics landscape knowledge And data driven strategic thinker capable of creative problem solving pragmatic execution
- You are an exceptional communicator presenter able articulate complex value propositions diverse audiences
- You are highly collaborative team player who can influence without authority work effectively across internal external teams
- Travel will be required for this role as we build grow partnership
- History success working cross-functional team members including Sales Sales Engineering Finance Marketing Programs
