Job Description

Location:

  • Remote, work from home position
  • Candidates must reside in the UK
  • Some travel required for client/internal meetings and conferences
  • Must hold a valid passport, be able to travel internationally, and speak fluent English

Role Overview:

  • Position in Strategic Partner Development department
  • Focus on UK affiliate space
  • Support growth of the department with business development/account management experience
  • Join client calls to pitch high-value opportunities and provide strategic insights
  • Manage top 10 partners for respective clients proactively

Top 5 Job Responsibilities:

Client Revenue:

  • Contribute to client growth through high potential relationships and publisher optimization
  • Follow client-approved processes for paid placements and partner optimizations
  • Serve as subject matter expert in client verticals and partner relationships

Business Development and Publisher Relationships:

  • Identify and recruit high-quality partners using tools like APVision and SimilarWeb
  • Maintain clear, informative communication with publishers; vet opportunities effectively
  • Proactively identify and execute revenue growth opportunities

Top Partner Management:

  • Optimize opportunities with top publishers as an extension of the client's business
  • Manage budgets to drive client growth while maintaining ROI
  • Demonstrate exceptional calendar and time management skills

Strategy and Execution:

  • Align with client strategy and goals; participate in kickoff and ongoing calls
  • Create and own partner recruitment/paid placement strategies including negotiation, campaign setup, communication
  • Adapt strategies as needed; communicate professionally about goals and expectations

Pitching Opportunities:

  • Educate clients on opportunities with clear articulation of value and expected outcomes
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity; pitch innovative opportunities grounded in data
  • Maintain deep knowledge of publisher verticals, client business, competitive landscape
  • Overcome objections thoughtfully; propose alternatives when needed

Qualities of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong aptitude for digital strategies based on UK publisher business models
  • Ability to quickly develop new relationships for brand-to-brand recruitment
  • Self-starter motivated to hit targets
  • Experience with enterprise brands understanding their business/media challenges
  • Proven knowledge of performance/acquisition marketing
  • History managing complex partnerships successfully through organizations
  • Commercial sales success with senior stakeholder support ability
  • Data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills for senior stakeholders engagement
  • High attention to detail; ability to analyze data for insights
  • Proactive, collaborative attitude with growth mindset
  • Experience collaborating remotely across time zones

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge of UK digital market; English fluency required
  • 4+ years business development or relevant experience (account management, contract negotiations, marketing)
  • Experience in sales or account management with enterprise clients
  • Proven track record exceeding goals
  • Preferred experience in Performance Marketing/Affiliate Marketing industry
  • Effective communication/negotiation skills; detail-oriented and persuasive
  • Success in goal-oriented fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable leading client-facing presentations
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Work from home and corporate office experience is a plus
