Partner Solutions Architect (EMEA)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Role Summary:

• Act as Datadog's in-house product expert within the technical solutions team.
• Support Datadog’s Channels & Alliances business segment.
• Responsible for supporting technical initiatives for partners such as cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps transformation.
• Collaborate with Datadog and partner resources to ensure success.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for the Partner channel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources;
• Participate in joint business planning and review sessions with partner technical teams;
• Support partner technical initiatives including demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and coaching on lead practices;
• Advocate for partners’ technical concerns with internal Datadog teams to resolve issues;
• Analyze partner service offerings and recommend enhancements through better adoption of Datadog features;
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features;
• Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.

Qualifications:

• Solid technical grounding with hands-on IT Development and/or Operations experience.
• Typically 10-15 years in customer or partner-facing technical roles.
• Self-starter with strong business acumen; able to articulate Datadog value across organizational levels.
• Confident presentation skills.

Desired Hands-on Experience (two or more areas):

• Observability tools: Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, Dynatrace
• Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry
• Development/Scripting: Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go
• Configuration Management: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Gitlab

Bonus Points:

• Experience supporting channel partners like Systems Integrators or Managed Services Providers.
• Experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics).
• Experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting and debugging.
