We’re looking for a People Operations Manager to build and run the people engine behind our global, fully remote team. The Role As People Operations Manager, you’ll architect and own the People Operating System that fuels Bright!Tax—hiring amazing teammates, telling our story to the world, and keeping our HR data, policies, and team moments buttoned-up and on brand. You’ll partner closely with leaders across the business acting as the bridge between HR, IR, Operations and Leadership functions and bringing clarity, speed, and joy to every step of the team member experience. You'll promote a strong, values-driven culture, track key HR KPIs (such as retention rate, time-to-fill, and engagement scores), and translate HR data into actionable insights that drive better decisions across the organization. Above all, you'll problem-solve before issues become crises, creating a seamless, proactive People Operations experience. What You’ll Do
- Own workforce planning, job design, and recruiting sprints end-to-end (sourcing → structured interviews → offers → onboarding).
- Build and evolve our employer brand: career site, job descriptions, social/LinkedIn campaigns, and Glassdoor strategy.
- Administer and continuously improve BambooHR: data hygiene, workflows, approvals, permissions, reporting, and integrations (ATS, payroll, LMS, collaboration tools).
- Plan and execute unforgettable team experiences: in-person meet ups, annual leadership summits, firm meetings—own budgets, logistics, and run-of-show.
- Ship the weekly Bright!News and People Ops updates; bring transparent metrics to leadership Calls with clear decisions and next steps.
- Partner with leaders on performance, feedback rituals, and manager enablement; ensure policies are current, clear, and on brand.
- Own compliance hygiene in partnership with advisors and vendors.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in People Ops/HR or Talent, with experience owning recruiting pipelines and an HRIS (BambooHR preferred).
- A builder’s mindset: you enjoy designing systems, SOPs, and dashboards that scale.
- Strong comms chops—clear writer/editor with a feel for brand tone across internal & external channels.
- Event producer energy: organized, calm under pressure, and detail-obsessed.
- Data-literate operator comfortable with metrics, reporting,and translating insights into action.
