Principal Product Designer, Local Services

At Block, we’re building a new ecosystem of commerce and financial services that unlocks access to the global economy for more people. We are looking for an influential design leader who can ship impactful strategic work that elevates our Local Services products.

What you’ll do

• Lead bigger projects from vision through shipped product.
• Raise the bar on execution and ambition.
• Promote design excellence across teams.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and data scientists.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and creativity.
• Use data, insights, and experience to inform decisions.
• Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance workflows.

Experience & Background

• 12+ years of relevant product design experience.
• Exceptional UX craft and vision.
• Ability to balance customer needs with business goals.
• Experience building integrated omnichannel solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Deep curiosity and optimism.
• Strong storytelling skills with a "show don't tell" approach.
• Ability to cut through complexity.
