Principal Product Manager, Rovo Search and AI Quality
Location: Canada Team: Rovo + AI team at Atlassian Role Overview:
- Shape and execute Atlassian’s vision for delivering quality AI products, focusing on Rovo Search.
- Deliver industry-leading enterprise search underpinning Atlassian’s AI-driven products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive strategic vision and roadmap for AI quality for Search/Search Agents.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality, reliability, and trustworthiness of AI models and experiences.
- Partner with engineering, data science, product, and design teams to identify opportunities and implement improvements in AI quality.
- Advocate for relevance and quality standards; influence stakeholders to elevate user experience.
- Develop deep customer insights to identify gaps in quality; proactively address issues.
- Regularly interact with users and internal stakeholders to validate quality enhancements and prioritize features.
- Create compelling narratives and communicate progress effectively to customers, stakeholders, and the broader community.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management experience with recent focus on relevance and quality for consumer or enterprise AI products.
- Proven proficiency in defining and improving relevance and quality measurement metrics.
- Strong technical expertise in search/ads technologies, natural language processing, machine learning principles.
- Data-driven decision-making skills; ability to analyze complex data sets independently.
- Deep user empathy with commitment to exceptional experiences.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; able to convey complex technical concepts clearly to technical/non-technical audiences including senior executives.
- Ability to influence cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred.

Compensation:
- Canada: $156,600 CAD - $174,000 CAD base salary range.
- Role may be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, equity.
