Introduction
The Solutions Engineering team serves as the primary technical resource and internal advocate for all Customers. Through consultative engagement, we identify our Customers’ challenges and business requirements, leveraging our product expertise to propose solutions that meet their needs. As trusted technical advisors, we work closely with our Customers to help them achieve their target outcomes and realize the full value of the HashiCorp solutions they’ve implemented.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Solutions Engineer, you will partner closely with one or more Sales Executives and support the entire Customer journey. This includes pipeline creation, achieving technical wins, onboarding, driving consumption, and ensuring successful renewals. Your expertise and guidance will be crucial in helping Customers unlock the full potential of our solutions and achieve their desired business outcomes. In this role you will be expected to:
- Serve as Trusted Advisor: You will act as a trusted advisor to aligned accounts, technical teams, and business stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Exhibit Strong Communication Skills: You will influence decisions through effective presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops.
- Understand the Customer’s Journey: Guide customers through a value realization journey aligned to their strategic priorities.
- Prove Business Value: Demonstrate business value of HashiCorp solutions.
- Contribute to Customer Success: Participate in customer QBRs and roadmap sessions.
- Drive Expansion and Adoption: Promote adoption of multi-product integrated solutions.
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Solutions Architecture, Customer Success etc.
- Provide Authoritative Guidance: Offer guidance on DevOps concepts including infrastructure architecture.
- Maintain Technology Expertise: Deep understanding of HashiCorp portfolio.
Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Experience: Technical Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Technical Expertise: DevOps concepts including IT operations, security cloud microservices etc.
- Customer Engagement: Proven experience implementing software products in enterprises.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally in dynamic teams.
Preferred technical experience
- Knowledge of HashiCorp Tools portfolio.
- Relevant certifications (AWS Azure Google Cloud DevOps).
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
