Role Summary

The Revenue Operations Manager supports the Strategic Growth Accounts team focused on winning and expanding complex government accounts at local, county, and state levels. This role is research, intelligence, and enablement-focused, requiring experience inside government agencies to understand their operations.

Responsibilities

Account Intelligence & Research

  • Build and maintain structured account plans for strategic government targets.
  • Map agency priorities, budget cycles, procurement vehicles, key stakeholders, and political dynamics.
  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and agency developments; produce briefs explaining opportunity timing.
  • Use public data sources (USASpending, SAM.gov, agency budget justifications, congressional records) to build comprehensive account pictures.
  • Identify whitespace and expansion opportunities within existing or adjacent agencies before public RFPs.

Pipeline & Sales Enablement

  • Participate in pipeline reviews and deal-level conversations with analysis of account health, opportunity sizing, procurement timing, and risk.
  • Serve as operational resource for reps on government opportunities regarding contracting vehicles, procurement pathways, agency structures, and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Assist sales leadership in prioritizing opportunities based on data-driven account analysis.

Frameworks & Scalability

  • Document research methodologies, procurement guidance, stakeholder mapping templates, and policy briefs to improve sales team operations in government accounts.
  • Develop repeatable frameworks to scale team capabilities in complex public sector environments.

Qualifications / About You

  • 3-6 years of hands-on experience inside a government agency (local/county/state) in policy, procurement, budget, operations or planning roles.
  • Fluency with government procurement including contracting vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs), procurement timelines, budget cycles, political dynamics.
  • Skilled in policy research and synthesis; able to interpret legislation/executive orders/agency priorities relevant to sales pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills working with qualitative/quantitative data from sources like USASpending and SAM.gov.
  • Experienced in strategic account planning beyond contact lists; capturing organizational dynamics and competitive positioning.

Compensation

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually plus benefits, equity (if applicable), bonus (if applicable).
